What is your first impression of Bro Hof?
Wow!
What do you like most about it?
I don’t know where to start… The impression the club house gives is a wonderfully aesthetic. The pleasant welcome from the staff and the philosophy surrounding the course and the facilities demonstrate high standards and quality. Everything seems well thought through. As a professional golfer I have had the privilege of experiencing many different golf courses around the world and, in Sweden, from an international point of view, the standard is relatively low. Bro Hof felt like a fish swimming against the stream...
What isn’t so good?
I’m positive about what I’ve seen, but it’s a little too soon. Perhaps one thing – a bit too much open space around some holes. I miss the trees!
Will you play here in the future?
I’m convinced of that! I’m looking forward to an invitation to the opening...
Do you think that Bro Hof Slott is suitable for all types of players?
I think that it will attract many different target groups because it’s so well thought out, with alternative tees and what looks like a forgiving rough, but which is still difficult to play out of. There seem to be opportunities for the course to fit any category of player that there is that day. If you want to make the course really tough, Bro Hof can do that just, as well as creating a pleasant environment for corporate golf. Even if there is an strong elite mindset behind the course, I still think a beginner can get a lot out of Bro Hof.
