ALL the grass is watered, even in the woodland, so that the course will always be beautifully green. There are 1550 sprinklers for 18 holes, approximately double so many as at Barsebäck’s 18 holes, for example, and about 10 times as many as at an “ordinary” course.
The entire sprinkler system is electronic and moisture sensors can see which areas need water and when.
Everything is managed electronically so which sprinkler should be on, at what time and for how long can be programmed months in advance. Moisture sensors on the greens also mean that the computer can register when they need watering. Access to water will never be a problem, not even during a drought, because Bro Hof has access to Lake Mälaren.
