Bachelor’s in Economics from Lund University. Product Manager at Pierre Robert, Product Group Manager at IKEA and MD for two different advertising agencies.
After that he had a few assignments as a marketing consultant, including one for Åbro brewery, and made a failed attempt to start a newspaper publishing company. Started Poolia in 1989 and then the Uniflex subsidiary.
A graduate in economics and business administration. His background is from SAS and as a tour manager and site manager for Fritidsresor.
Started at Poolia in the middle of the 1990s where he was Consultancy Manager, MD for a number of subsidiaries and International Manager.
Son of the legendary golf course designer, Robert Trent Jones Sr, he was brought up amongst tools for measuring topography, aerial photos, sketch pads and plane tickets. After studies at Yale he got his degree from Stanford University and started to work with his father.
Eventually he became Vice President and he was given responsibility for the American west coast in 1962. He has designed his own courses since 1960 and started his own company, Robert Trent Jones II, in the early 1970s in Palo Alto, California.
During his career he has designed or remodelled more than 200 golf courses around the world, including ones in Russia, China, Kashmir, the Philippines, Malaysia, the Caribbean and South Africa. Best known in Scandinavia for the award-winning championship course at Miklagård in Norway.
Lifetime member and former chairman of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, author of the book “Golf by Design”.
Took a Bachelor of Liberal Arts at the University of Arizona in 1980, has worked as a golf designer since then. Now Head Designer at RTJII and secretary of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Architect of twenty or so courses around the world, including the upcoming 27-hole course, Lübker Golf Resort, outside Århus in Denmark.
